Upcountry Fitness and our education partner, the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) have teamed up to provide world class personal training. Upcountry Fitness requires all of our trainers to have NASM certification and education. This allows our personal trainers to utilize NASM’s Optimum Performance Training™ principles.
Optimum Performance Training™ (OPT™) is a systematic and integrated (total body) training, reconditioning and rehabilitation program that can be used to reach any goal. OPT™ incorporates six types of training—flexibility, cardiorespiratory, core, balance, power and strength—into every program, the revolutionary OPT™ method improves all biomotor abilities and builds high levels of functional strength, neuromuscular efficiency and dynamic flexibility.
